She got in the car while her husband and son unloaded the groceries.I mean I know it’s a little thing, but I’ve seen things like that so much. I just shook my head and laughed. She coulda at least helped her son out. He didn’t need to carry three of those with only two hands.

Someone told me they heard a woman say “I want to be paid like a man, but treated like a lady.” I think that sums it up pretty well.  They want all the rewards without having to put in the effort.

Um…he looked to be about seven, no older than eight for sure. And he was so skinny! Plus they weren’t parked that close to the store either, so he had to carry them a little ways.

OBVIOUSLY that phone call was important. Nah, i’ve worked retail for almost 10 years and it happens all the time. The women will legit leave and the husbands just stand there with a look on their face. They’ll sigh and pick up all the bags.

What’s even funnier is that the woman is usually the one who actually picks out the stuff they need. Seriously if I were their husband I’d leave the groceries and walk right behind them. I mean I know they’re paid for, but hey if she’s not gonna help then they must not be that important. I saw basically the same thing about a month before, the guy was unloading a kart full of groceries, and the woman was just standing there watching him. I can’t help but wonder what life is like at home for these men if their wives/girlfriends won’t even help with the groceries…. :(

I just couldn’t believe she made her son carry three of those things!! He was so little, I’m sure they weighed more than he did or pretty close. I bet if he hada dropped one she would’ve gotten off the phone then, just to bitch at him.

I fail to see how I’m hurting myself. I’m perfectly happy and carry myself very proudly at that fact. Sometimes I think they’re just jealous or they regret their actions…or both.

Around here where I’m from, most men  are gentlemen. They’ll always say somethin’ nice to a woman. Of course it’s usually only the older women who will show some appreciation. It’s just one of those things that really bothers me. I like it when I get a compliment, from anyone, but especially from a man. It makes me feel good, ya know? So I don’t understand why some women take it so far outta context. The way they react sometimes…it’s just plain rude.

If he says something nice to or about you, it doesn’t hurt you to smile and say thank you. It doesn’t mean he “wants” you. Maybe, just maybe he’s, oh I don’t know….just trying to be….nice? Is that a crime? You don’t know what he’s thinking. Why assume he’s doing it for ‘sexual’ reasons? I mean why go through life so paranoid? 

I hate it when a woman disrespects a man when all he was doing was being friendly. And you wonder why you can’t find a “good” man? I’m sure you’ve been around plenty of them, but you on your pedestal can’t seem to see them unless they’re bowing down at your feet.
